With the cooperation of major Hobart developer, Wilson Homes, construction of the houses for the 5 Star thermal performance project has commenced.

The first of the houses was set out on site on Tuesday, February 6, with bulk excavation starting the same day. This was the beginning of a construction process that is expected to continue till June 2007.

Later in the week, footings for the houses were dug and reinforcement delivered.
