Wilson Homes are proud to be working in conjunction with the University of Tasmania's Timber Research Unit to undertake a 5 Star Energy project in Tasmania.
Wilson Homes, a Tasmanian based company since 1988, is well established in the Tasmanian residential market by providing "quality homes at an affordable price".
The managing Director, Stuart Wilson, has welcomed the opportunity of working on this project to test the costs and benefits of 5 Star Energy Rating. By providing specific working analysis, on a real life test case situation, informed decisions can be based on true and accurate data.
The development site is based in Kingston, Tasmania, which consists of 6 villa units,three of these will be utilised in the research.
All have identical floor plans and have a northerly aspect which makes them ideally suited for this project.
